Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Wash, cut, portion, and organize vegetables, proteins, sauces, and other ingredients.
- Label, date, rotate, and properly store food products using FIFO procedures.
- Prepare and portion items for daily service and catering events.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory.
- Restock kitchen stations before service.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support the kitchen team wherever needed to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow recipes and detailed instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
