iDesign is seeking a Director-Level Project Manager to lead our continually expanding water resources design sector. This position will be based at our headquarters along I-95 in Calverton, MD (less than two miles from the Capital Beltway).
The qualified candidate will direct, mentor and provide quality management for team members in the design of highway and transit projects, specifically involving the areas of stormwater management, floodplain studies, hydraulic structures, low-impact developments, erosion and sediment control, NPDES and MS4 permitting and other related fields.

Minimum required experience:
- BS Civil or Environmental Engineering degree
- PE License
- 10 years professional experience consulting with public transportation and planning agencies
- 5 years professional experience managing engineering design
- Proven Microstation proficiency
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
The preferred candidate will possess:
- 3 or more years’ experience with MDOT or MDE
- Experience with Bentley Openroads/Openflows
