Join our dynamic team as a NON CDL BOX TRUCK DELIVERY DRIVER and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations using a box truck that does not require a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver products to designated locations, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices
- Verify delivery orders, inspect shipments for accuracy, and document delivery details accurately on mobile devices or delivery logs
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including load & unload records and route logs
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and material handling
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting
- Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a manual transmission box truck preferred
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to traffic regulations including DOT standards
- Ability to lift heavy items safely using proper manual handling techniques; experience with pallet jacks and material handling equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally during deliveries
- Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication purposes
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous
- Physically capable of performing manual lifting tasks regularly throughout the shift
