Avana Plastic Surgery in Dallas is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work directly under our surgeon, providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Saturdays as needed (2–3 hours)
Position Overview:
The NP will play a key role in the surgical process, managing patients throughout their pre-op and post-op journey while maintaining direct communication with the surgeon to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations and medical clearances
- Perform post-operative follow-ups and wound assessments
- Monitor recovery progress and manage treatment plans
- Provide patient education and ensure compliance with post-op instructions
- Maintain direct communication with the surgeon regarding patient status
- Document all encounters accurately and timely
Requirements:
- Active Texas NP license
- Experience in surgical, plastic surgery, or perioperative care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus

Pay: $124,800.00 - $135,000.00 per year
