Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead and oversee our organization’s programs and operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive experience in program development, and a deep understanding of working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This leadership role requires exceptional relationship management, administrative expertise, and the ability to manage multiple programs effectively. The Director will play a vital role in shaping strategic initiatives, ensuring quality service delivery, and fostering a positive organizational culture committed to social impact and behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all organizational programs and initiatives.
- Oversee program development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with community partners, stakeholders, clients, and staff to promote collaboration and organizational growth.
- Supervise staff members, including managers and program coordinators, ensuring effective team performance through coaching and support.
- Oversee budgeting processes, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and quality standards related to behavioral health and developmental disabilities services.
- Lead efforts in program evaluation, data collection, and reporting to support continuous improvement.
- Promote an inclusive environment that supports individuals with developmental disabilities through innovative program strategies.
- Facilitate communication across up departments to ensure cohesive operations and effective service delivery.
- Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and partnerships.
Requirements
- Proven management experience with a strong background in program development and program management.
- Supervising experience in a social work or behavioral health setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent relationship managed skills with community stakeholders, clients, staff, and partners.
- Strong administrative skills including budgeting, reporting, and organizational planning.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and principles related to developmental disabilities.
- Experience in social work or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to lead teams with compassion while maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
