Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager. The ideal candidate has experience in site work construction, layout and scheduling. Equipment operation a plus. Pool building experience a plus. Must be able to speak professionally to clients and interact well with employees and crew. Must have a good understanding of elevations and modern practice of concrete construction. This role ensures projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead construction crews on residential and commercial pool projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field.
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities, ensuring work meets design specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
- Work closely with project managers, construction managers, and service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices in safety and jobsite efficiency.
- Maintain accurate jobsite documentation, communicate progress, and report issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all local codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in the swimming pool industry a HUGE PLUS.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and equipment schematics.
- Prior crew leadership or foreman experience required.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-end/luxury residential pools.
- Equipment operation
- Familiarity with advanced automation systems and smart pool technology.
- Knowledge of water chemistry and service operations.
- OSHA or other safety certifications.
