NOW HIRING: INFANT/TODDLER TEACHERS & ASSISTANTS
We are looking for patient, nurturing, and energetic Infant/Toddler Teachers who are passionate about supporting early developmental milestones. Our ideal team members understand how important responsive care, emotional connection, and age-appropriate routines are for children in their earliest years.
In this role, you will help create a warm, engaging environment where our youngest learners can thrive through sensory play, early language experiences, and guided exploration.
RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
- Maintain a professional, positive, and caring demeanor at all times
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through timely, thoughtful communication
- Create a safe, soothing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Provide responsive care, comfort, and consistency to infants and toddlers
- Support feeding, diapering, toileting, and naptime routines with patience and attention to detail
- Maintain constant sight and sound supervision
- Facilitate sensory, motor, and early learning experiences that promote curiosity and growth
- Encourage early social skills such as sharing, turn-taking, and gentle interactions
- Introduce early literacy, pre-math, and simple science concepts through playful exploration
- Incorporate daily movement and physical activity
- Prepare and follow daily lesson plans based on the school’s curriculum
- Document incidents, illnesses, and developmental concerns as needed
- Report any suspected child abuse and inform the Director of concerns
- Attend staff meetings and complete required trainings promptly
- Complete tasks assigned by immediate supervisor
WORK SCHEDULE
Consistent Monday–Friday schedule between 7:00am–6:00pm
(8-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break)
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Certified Childcare Professional (CCP) preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with infants and/or toddlers
- Must meet state licensure requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to caring for young children
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
