Step into a rewarding role as a Registered Behavior Technician, making a meaningful difference for students in a school-based environment. This full-time, contract opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, working 37.5 hours per week. You'll provide crucial one-on-one behavioral support to students—helping them thrive and grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through BACB
- Previous RBT experience in a school setting (required)
- Ability to travel between schools within the district for itinerant assignments
- Successful completion of TEA fingerprinting (unless completed recently for another district)
- Must submit references for your two most recent supervisors
- Strong commitment to supporting students’ behavioral and functional progress
Your role will include:
- Delivering individualized ABA therapy to one student at a time, assigned on an ongoing basis, at one school site per assignment
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and behavior analysts to implement and document behavioral intervention plans
- Monitoring student progress, adjusting support as needed, and communicating outcomes to the support team
- Moving between schools within the district as new assignments are needed, following student progress and program evaluations
