The Floor Trainer/ Front Desk Attendant is responsible for managing and maintaining the fitness floor, being responsive to members by offering assistance and educating them on the safe and correct use of cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Additionally, Floor Trainers perform Welcome Workout orientations/assessments, sells personal training packages, conducts one-on-one personal training sessions, and answers fitness related questions.
Supervise members to ensure safe and appropriate equipment use.
Provide personal and group training sessions as assigned.
Conduct fitness assessments, develop exercise programs, and recommend personal training packages.
Record and track personal training sessions in JAM.
Perform and maintain gym cleaning duties.
Deliver orientations (Welcome Workouts), including health history review, assessments, equipment instruction, and workout planning.
Maintain a follow-up schedule with new members for continued engagement.
Greet and provide immediate attention to all members and guests.
Screen visitors, manage attendance using JONAS, and ensure guest waivers are completed.
Register new members following established procedures.
Promote and inform members about services, events, rules, and amenities.
Answer and route phone calls professionally.
Manage financial transactions, inventory, and JONAS charging/closing procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and aesthetics of the Juice Bar area.
Prepare and promote smoothies, coffee, and other beverages.
