Micron Air & Mechanical Solutions is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project documents to determine scope and cost.
Prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment estimates.
Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotes.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
Generate and submit timely, competitive bids.
Maintain current knowledge of pricing, labor rates, and market trends.
Support preconstruction value engineering efforts when needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of estimating experience in HVAC or mechanical construction.
Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and construction plans.
Experience with estimating software such as ProCore, BuildingConnected, or similar.
Strong math and organizational skills.
Effective communicator and team player.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (not required).
