Private Family Dental Practice
We are a small, private family dental practice looking for a friendly, dependable, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team.
Our office focuses on providing personalized care and building long-term relationships with our patients. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating a positive patient experience, works well as part of a close-knit team, and takes pride in providing excellent clinical support.
The ideal candidate is a Dental Assistant who is comfortable working chairside and helping our team provide efficient, compassionate care. Experience with front desk responsibilities is a plus, as we value team members who are willing to assist with scheduling, patient communication, and other office needs when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during patient procedures and provide excellent chairside support
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Take dental X-rays and assist with patient care as needed
- Review patient needs and help ensure a comfortable experience
- Maintain proper infection control and sterilization procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients and the dental team
- Assist with front office duties when needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and patient communication
- Help create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting experience required
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and patient care
- Comfortable working in a small private practice environment
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well independently
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus
- Front desk/reception experience is a plus
