Duties
- Install standing seam metal roofing panels with accuracy, ensuring alignment and secure fastening according to technical specifications and safety standards
- Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to execute precise roofing installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials efficiently
- Perform roof repairs, maintenance, and restoration work on existing metal roofs
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and construction safety harnesses while adhering strictly to workplace safety regulations
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure efficient workflow on outdoor construction sites
- Assist with siding installation, trim carpentry, caulking, and other related tasks as needed to support comprehensive project completion
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during outdoor work activities
Experience
- Prior construction experience with a focus on standing seam metal roofing installation or repair is highly preferred
- Familiarity with metal roofing systems, especially standing seam techniques, is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and construction plans ensures accurate project execution
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and heavy lifting enhances your effectiveness on site
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations—including ladder use, safety harnesses, and site hazard awareness—is essential
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions demonstrates resilience and adaptability in outdoor environments
- Additional skills such as siding installation, stucco application, frame carpentry, masonry work or handyman experience are beneficial for versatile project support
