Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to foster holistic childhood development
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and supports children with diverse needs, including special education and early intervention strategies
- Lead engaging lessons and activities tailored to toddlers and preschoolers, promoting curiosity, creativity, and social skills
- Manage classroom routines effectively to ensure smooth transitions and maintain an organized learning space
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through clear communication about child welfare, progress, and developmental milestones
- Utilize standardized testing and assessment tools to monitor individual student progress and inform instructional strategies
- Incorporate child welfare best practices to promote physical safety, emotional well-being, and overall health within the daycare or preschool setting
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare environment; classroom management skills are essential
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques such as literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Ability to plan lessons that align with educational standards while fostering creativity and critical thinking
- Familiarity with classroom experience including lesson planning, and tutoring.
