Chinese-speaking physician assistants (PA) needed in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NYC for a busy psychiatric group practice. Full-time/part-time position with flexible schedule. Job Position: Physician Assistants (PA)
Responsibilities:
Work with supervising psychiatrist to treat stable medication management patients
Prescribe medication and/or ordering diagnostic tests for patients in maintenance treatment
Reviews lab results and propose plan of action according to results
Coordinate care with in-house psychotherapists
Counseling and educating patients and families
Qualifications:
Active NYS NP license (or equivalent) required
Previous experience preferred - Psych NP a plus
Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
Demonstrated compassionate and caring nature
Dedicated to providing high quality healthcare and patient experience
Exemplifies patient focused customer service skills with ability to build rapport with patients
Bilingual English and Chinese required (Mandarin or Cantonese)
Benefits:
Competitive salary starting at least: $160,000 - $180,000 FT commensurate with experience
