Duties
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive sailing curricula tailored for diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of instructors and staff, ensuring high standards of teaching, safety, and customer service.
- Oversee program operations, including scheduling classes, managing resources, and coordinating special events or competitions.
- Manage budgets effectively, including planning expenses, tracking expenditures, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Write grant proposals to secure funding for program expansion, equipment upgrades, or special initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations by conducting regular safety drills and inspections.
- Foster relationships with community partners, schools, and local organizations to promote program growth and outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Proven project management experience in educational or recreational programs with a focus on youth or adult learning.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and personnel development within academic or institutional settings.
- Expertise in budgeting, grant proposal writing, and securing research or program funding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for planning, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Background in academic leadership or higher education administration with experience in curriculum development or program management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of various ages while maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Excellent written communication skills for report writing, grant applications, and promotional materials.

Pay: $51,694.09 - $62,255.25 per year
