Job Summary:
New Promise Neuropathy is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations by preparing exam rooms, assisting providers during minor procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and accurately documenting patient information in our EMR system (NextGen).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stock exam rooms before each patient visit
- Assist the provider with patient care during minor in-office procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized office and clinical environment
- Chart patient data accurately and efficiently using EMR (NextGen)
- Support administrative and clinical tasks as directed by the provider or office manager
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting (neuropathy or specialty practice a plus)
- Familiarity with EMR systems, especially NextGen (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
