Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required
-
Computer literacy required**
-
Minimum of 3 years prior warehouse experience**

Basic inventory management skills
-
Ability to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Previous forklift experience**
-
Able to accurately pick and pack orders
-
Forklift certifications for all required equipment***
-
Experience with forklift-mounted computers and barcode scanners (training available on the job)
-
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials for both inbound and outbound shipments. Labor intense job in a non-climate control environment.
Key Duties:
-
Safely pick, pack, load, and ship orders as required
-
Review and follow special instructions for all pack sets
-
Utilize the Branch Locator system for accurate transactions
-
Receive and inspect incoming material from Victaulic subsidiaries, customers, and vendors
-
Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and good inventory management practices
-
Perform housekeeping and maintenance duties to keep the warehouse and property clean and organized
-
Assist "will call" customers as needed
-
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and the code of ethics
-
Comply with all safety guidelines and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) practices
-
Complete other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager or Distribution Center Coordinator
