Opus Pool Service is a growing residential pool service company focused on Scottsdale, starting with a tight service area in 85257 and 85258.
We are looking for an experienced Pool Service Technician who wants more than another pool cleaning job. The right person takes pride in their work, solves problems independently, works efficiently, and understands that taking care of the customer is one of the most important parts of the job.
This is also a growth position. As Opus grows, this person will have the opportunity to move into a Lead Technician or Field Supervisor role.
Pay & Performance Bonus
$25-$30 per hour, depending on experience, plus a 5% Route Performance Bonus.
The bonus is based on collected recurring service revenue from your assigned pool route and is tied to meeting Opus performance standards. As your route grows, your bonus grows with it.

What We're Looking For
You must have at least 2-3 years of professional residential pool service experience and have worked for a pool company within the last two years.
· Knows residential pool maintenance and water chemistry
· Understands pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, valves, and other pool equipment
· Can identify leaks and equipment problems
· Can troubleshoot and solve problems independently
· Works efficiently without cutting corners
· Notices problems before they become bigger and more expensive
· Makes customer satisfaction a priority
· Handles customer concerns professionally and reasonably
· Is comfortable using a smartphone and pool service software
· Keeps their truck, tools, and work area clean and organized
· Wants to learn, improve, and take on more responsibility
What You'll Do
· Service residential pools on a weekly route
· Test and balance water chemistry
· Add and document chemicals
· Brush, skim, vacuum, and clean pools as needed
· Empty baskets and inspect filters
· Inspect pumps, heaters, salt systems, valves, plumbing, and other equipment
· Look for leaks, unusual noises, poor circulation, and equipment problems
· Take photos and document problems through pool service software
· Troubleshoot and solve problems when possible
· Perform filter cleaning and routine maintenance
· Communicate professionally with customers
· Keep accurate digital service records
· Help prevent problems instead of waiting for something to break

· Most importantly, don't leave a reasonable problem for someone else when you can take care of it yourself.
Requirements
· Minimum 2-3 years of professional residential pool service experience
· Must have worked for a pool service company within the last two years
· Strong understanding of pool water chemistry
· Knowledge of residential pool equipment
· Valid Arizona driver's license
· Acceptable driving record
· Dependable and punctual
· Able to work independently
· Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona
· Able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
· Comfortable using smartphone apps
· Professional appearance and attitude
Pool repair, troubleshooting, and equipment installation experience is a major plus.
Experience using Skimmer or similar pool service software is also a plus.
