Job Overview
Our daycare teachers are the heart of our center and create joyful, meaningful moments each day that truly make a difference in the lives of children and their families. We’re looking for someone with a kind heart, a patient spirit, and a growth mindset who loves nurturing young minds and helping children discover a lifelong love of learning. We have a 3 positions available: daycare teacher, daycare kitchen help, and daycare driver.
Teacher
- Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor time to ensure safety and engagement
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and administering basic first aid when necessary
COOK
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to specific guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies are needed
- Accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment
- Assist with meal planning and food preparation
DRIVER
- Safely transport children to and from school and daycare activities
- Ensure all children are properly secured during transportation
- Follow all traffic laws and daycare transportation policies
- Assist children in getting on and off the vehicle safely
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child development instruction methods
- Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training encouraged
- Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and behaviors
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with all licensing regulations for daycare centers
