The Job Description
This is a hands-on leadership role. The Operations Manager is expected to personally execute daily warehouse work, including shipping, picking, and packing. The Operations Manager will also oversee week to week warehouse operations for Jack and Sage (sewing, warehouse, logistic teams) and build out operations processes in the growing company. This role will work closely with operations, procurement, and sales to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving Execution
o Execute all shipping and receiving tasks such as:
o Inbound receiving and ensuring products are checked in accurately and timely
o Unloading trucks and organizing styles for QA inspection
o Create all pick tickets and shipments in ERP
o Schedule and coordinate all outbound shipping across UPS, FedEx, and LTL
o Ensure orders are packed correctly, professionally, and according to customer requirements
o Troubleshoot shipping issues, missed shipments, inventory shortages, and order exceptions
o Coordinate with customer service and sales on order priorities, special handling, and urgent shipments
o Creating UPCs and applying to customer orders
o Packing, counting, and palletizing of orders
Warehouse Operations
o Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement
o Ensure wholesale, e-commerce, and sample orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
o Organize warehouse layout to improve efficiency, cleanliness, safety, and inventory accessibility
o Monitor daily workload and adjust staffing priorities to meet order deadlines
o Maintain clear processes for order flow, inventory handling, returns, and special projects
o Support seasonal peaks, large order volume, and changing business needs in a fast-growing company
Inventory Management
o Maintain accurate inventory counts across finished goods, blanks, samples, and supplies
o Perform regular cycle counts and help reconcile inventory discrepancies
o Work with operations, procurement, and finance to identify and resolve inventory issues
o Ensure all inventory is properly labeled, stored, counted, and organized
Team Leadership
o Lead, train, and support warehouse employees across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory tasks
o Set clear daily priorities and hold the team accountable for accuracy, speed, safety, and organization
o Create a positive, hardworking, and team-oriented warehouse culture

The Job’s Qualifications & Requirements
Required
o 5+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, or operations experience
o Prior experience leading or supervising warehouse employees
o Exceptional attention to detail and organization
o Strong communication and leadership skills
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of operational issues
o Ability to lift boxes and warehouse materials as required by the role
o Basic computer skills and comfort working in order management, shipping, inventory, or ERP systems
o Ability to commute to both warehouse locations

Preferred
o Experience process improvement and workflow efficiencies such as SOP creation, lean manufacturing, 5S, etc.
o Experience working with a small company
o Warehouse and or manufacturing layout design for a growing company
Details
· Title: Operations Manager
· Start Date: ASAP
· Compensation: $55,000 - $62,000
· Benefits: Health Plan, 3% 401k match
· PTO: 3 weeks PTO + paid holidays
· Hours: 6am – 2:30pm, Monday-Friday (start time can be flexible)
· Location: Denver, CO (Commerce City, Platt Park)
· Physical requirements: regularly lift 25 pound boxes
Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
