Night Shift – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with ECMO Specialist experience for a high-acuity critical care environment. The therapist will support both adult and pediatric ECMO patients while collaborating closely with ICU nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary critical care teams.
This role requires strong experience in mechanical circulatory support, critical care respiratory management, and ECMO device monitoring in both CVICU and PICU settings.
- Manage ECMO devices and provide bedside ECMO support
- Monitor and troubleshoot ECMO equipment and circuits
- Support ECMO cannulation and cannula repositioning procedures
- Collaborate with ICU and provider teams for patient management
- Provide respiratory care for critically ill adult and pediatric patients
- Float between CVICU and PICU as needed
- Follow ECMO order sets and hospital critical care protocols
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC
- Post-cardiac surgery patients
- Cardiogenic shock
- Trauma patients
- ARDS and respiratory failure
- Severe acute cardiac and respiratory conditions requiring ECMO support
- ECMO Specialist experience required
- Adult and Pediatric critical care experience required
- ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
- RRT Credential
- South Carolina RRT License
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- ECMO specialty device course completion and ongoing proficiency education
- Cardiohelp ECMO Console
- Centrimag ECMO Console
- Cardio Quip Heater-Cooler Unit
- Point-of-Care Glucometer Testing
