Rodda Electric Inc. (REI) is a Commercial Electrical Contractor with an office in Brentwood, California. We work throughout the Greater Bay Area, Central Valley, and Sacramento Region. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise electrical crews on job sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical installations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all codes and standards. REI is currently seeking a Foreman with at least 5+ years of experience. REI prides itself in delivering top quality work and are looking for experienced professionals who uphold our values.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead electricians and apprentices on job sites
- Manages electrical projects including installation, repair, and inspection.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances per drawings or plans.
- Prepare and lay out electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, conduit and panel locations.
- Plan and run daily work, assign tasks to crew members, schedules, and productivity
- Ensures work is done in a safe and timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and company standards
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Inspectors, and other Trades
- Monitor productivity, material usage, and job progress
- Enforce job-site safety policies and conduct weekly safety meetings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical guidance
- Installs or helps install electrical components.
- Keep jobsites moving and on schedule for completion
- Maintain accurate Daily reports, Timecards, and Material Lists
- Train and mentor crew members
- Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers and cable vacuum systems.
- Secure and lock up equipment after use
- Keeps work area clean
Physical Requirements:
- Climbing ladders and steep stairs
- Crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching
- Able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required
- Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers
- Wearing all personal protective equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety vests, etc. at all times
- Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job
- Be willing to travel within 100 miles from Brentwood CA
- Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred (Master a plus)
- Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience, with being a Foreman or Lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, National Electrical Codes, and safety regulations
- Strong leadership and jobsite management skills
- Ability to manage crews and multi-task effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in varying job-site conditions
- Must be proficient in all types of electrical installations and wiring methods
- Commercial, Industrial, and Multi-Family Electrical Projects
- Experience with scheduling, estimating, and material ordering
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass drug and alcohol pre-screening test

Pay: $55.00 - $73.68 per hour
