Job Overview
New Phoenix, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Support Supervisor to lead and support our Peer Support Specialists. This role ensures that peerdelivered services reflect recovery principles, uphold state standards, and contribute to a supportive, personcentered environment. The Peer Support Supervisor works closely with the Clinical Director or Program Manager to strengthen peer services, promote recoveryoriented practices, and support staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and support Peer Support Specialists
- Review peer documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with state standards
- Facilitate group supervision, team meetings, and peer development activities
- Coordinate training, continuing education, and skillbuilding opportunities
- Advocate for recoveryoriented, personcentered services in program planning and development
- Promote a culture of empowerment, respect, and livedexperience leadership
Qualifications
- NC Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) required
- Supervisory or leadership experience in peerbased or recoveryoriented services
- Lived experience in recovery with a strong understanding of peer support values and principles
- Skilled in documentation, coaching, and supporting recoverybased work
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and traumainformed care
