Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Lift Installer/ Service Tech to install, assemble, service, and maintain vehicle lift systems at automotive shops, dealerships, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with power tools and construction environments, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Install automotive lifts (2-post, 4-post, scissor, alignment, and specialty lifts) according to manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and technical drawings
- Perform site preparation, including layout, anchoring, and leveling of lift systems
- Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
- Conduct load testing, safety checks, and final inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot installation or operational issues
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and lift relocations as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members
- Accurately complete work orders, installation reports, and documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3+ years of experience in automotive lift installation, mechanical installation, or related field (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and lifts
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check credit check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work on concrete floors for extended periods
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed (home every night)
Preferred Skills
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Basic electrical knowledge (single-phase and three-phase systems)
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Experience working in automotive shops or industrial environments
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Work Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required or offered
