The role of a DSP involves coming along side persons with disabilities to provide aide and opportunities that may be difficult for them to do independently; this includes getting out in the community and being involved in fun activities. Some other responsibilities would include assisting with personal cares. client programming, preparing meals, passing medications, doing laundry & house cleaning, assisting with medical appointments. Full paid training will be provided. Work will be done in a group home setting.
