ABOUT THE ROLE
KVC Missouri is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle within our assigned region. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive onboarding experience, maintaining compliance standards, supporting employee engagement efforts, and partnering with leadership to ensure operational excellence.

Hybrid - attends NEO at Corporate (2 days per week' every other week), will have in-office days at Niles 3 days per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Guide candidates through the onboarding process with consistent communication and support
- Conduct background checks and manage employment compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS and ADP systems
- Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation activities
- Ensure I-9 completion and regulatory compliance for all new hires
- Track onboarding progress and communicate updates to hiring managers and leadership
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation and documentation
- Support employee engagement initiatives and campus events
- Provide guidance regarding HR policies and procedures
- Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams on special projects
- Deliver trainings and organizational updates to staff
- Travel as needed to support regional organizational needs
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
Experience:
- Entry-level experience in Human Resources or professional administration
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment
