Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver will move transport food orders from one location to another.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
· Loads company vehicle with items scheduled for delivery.
· Delivers orders to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
· Maintains basic records of car mileage and deliveries made.
· Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· MUST drive safely. SPEED LIMITS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY MUST BE STRICTED ADHERED TO.
· Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based.
· Ability to plan delivery routes.
· Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
· Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
· Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
Education and Experience:
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
