Job Summary:
Job Title: Production Associate -Assemblers
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for boxing and packing pillows according to company standards, supporting production lines, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking. New hires are expected to meet performance standards within one week of training.
Responsibilities:
- Production
- Supply production lines with necessary materials and components
- Load hoppers with fiber
- Assemble boxes for pillow packaging
- Apply license plates to pallets
- Pull bags and shells from staging areas to production lines
- Pack and box pillows according to company standards
- Pack finished products into shipping cartons based on customer specifications
- Ensure accurate carton counts
- Affix correct labels to cartons
Inventory:
- Scan license plates using hand-held scanners
- Select and manage orders on operator screens
- Record downtime and changeovers in the system
- Maintain accurate records of materials used in production
- Perform production changeover tasks between work orders
- Assemble boxes for pillow packaging .
- Pack and box pillows according to company standards
- Pack finished products into shipping cartons based on customer specifications
Safety & Equipment:
- Operate all equipment safely and responsibly
- Report equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance promptly
- Follow all safety procedures to protect yourself and coworkers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required. Must be available to work rotating shift. Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Stand and move for extended periods (up to 12-hour shifts)
- Work in non- temperature controlled environment
- Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a pallet jack preferred
- Basic math skills

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
