Title: Program Manager (afterschool aged children and youth from grades kindergarten through high school)
2026-2027 Program Hours Monday through Thursdays 4:45pm to 7:00pm
Overview: Coatesville Kids to College is a program of its parent organization Educational Equity Alliance, that provides academic, emotional and spiritual empowerment to children and youth in the city of Coatesville through reduced cost preschool, free afterschool and free summer camps for children in pre-k through Highschool.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a high school diploma
Has experience working with children or assisting with tutoring support, supervision and programs
Ability to work well with staff, students and their parents
Role description:
Program managers will provide supervision for their assigned afterschool group, engagement and encouragement for enrichment activities, and management of tutoring time to assist in the academic progress of their students during afterschool scheduled programs
You will be expected to:
Have updated FBI, Criminal Background, Child Abuse, NSOR, and Mandated Reporter Training Clearances and Certification Completed within 30 days of hire.
· Arrive on time to support any preparational tasks as given by supervisor
· Manage a group of students as they transition to and from activities
· Provide encouragement to students and engagement
· Serve as a role model for all students
· Provide supportive oversight of academic performance of students in your group by managing access to school accounts and assignments, grades, report cards etc. with direct support from supervisor
· Communicate behavior expectations to students and any concerns to supervisor and parents as needed
· Interact with children to inspire and promote learning, providing them with a quality example and authority to follow
· Assist assessing children’s progress daily
· Attend monthly planning meetings as needed and instructed by supervisor
· Ensure all spaces used are tidy and kept organized
· Participate in special events and fundraisers with organizational staff
· Support the mission statement and goals of CKC

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
