Position: Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) – In-Office Only
Location: Athens, Alabama and/or Huntsville, AL
Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Master’s-level clinician who is eligible to apply for their Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) credential in Alabama. This is a full-time, in-office position located at our Athens, AL and/or Huntsville, AL office. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (36 hours/week)
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field
- At least 1 year of clinical experience (including internship or practicum)
- Eligibility for ALC credentialing in the state of Alabama
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Current professional liability insurance
- Commitment to in-person work in Athens, AL (relocation or reliable commute required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy to clients ages 5 and up
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using a HIPAA-compliant EMR
- Participate in case consultation and care coordination with the Clinical Director
- Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice
