We are looking for a Barista/Smoothie Bar operator to prepare and serve smoothies, iced teas, iced coffees, waffles, and açaí bowls. Responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills. You should be able to work various shifts.
MORNING SHIFT FROM 8AM-12PM, 2-3 DAYS A WEEK IS REQUIRED, if you do not have morning availability and some weekend availability please do not apply.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter
- Answer customers' questions regarding menu and ingredients
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of flavor, topping, syrup, etc.)
- Prepare beverages and food items following recipes
- Serve beverages and prepare food, like waffles and açaí bowls
- Package delivery orders for pickup
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Maintain stock of inventory
- Check if equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
