Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
- Assist with stocking merchandise, merchandising displays, and organizing product inventory on the sales floor
- Educate customers about featured items or current promotions to encourage upselling opportunities
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support store operations by performing retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and returns
- Participate in merchandising initiatives to keep the store visually appealing and aligned with brand standards
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, but not required, especially with POS systems and cash register operations
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear product information and excellent customer service
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and basic math skills for daily transactions
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and responsibly
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills are essential for engaging with customers both in-store and over the phone

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
