Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families regarding care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Provide safe and compassionate patient-centered care throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Current, active California RN license required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Proof of a negative TB screen within 12 months prior to the contract start date.
- Med Surg nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour
