Join our dynamic team as a CDL Class A Driver and take the wheel of a versatile fleet dedicated to delivering essential freight across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. As a CDL Class A Driver, you'll be the backbone of our logistics operation, responsible for transporting goods efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in driving and load handling will directly contribute to our mission of providing reliable service to our customers.
Duties
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight carriers.
- Load and unload freight with precision, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Execute route driving with a focus on efficiency, safety, and adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes and adjusting for traffic or weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses or any issues encountered during routes.
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional truck driver with a valid CDL Class A license.
- Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
- Experience handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized trucks such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is highly preferred.
- Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and load & unload operations.
- Familiarity with freight handling equipment like forklifts is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement standards.

Pay: $2,435.86 - $2,933.50 per week
