Searching for a MONDAY 10-7 and Two Saturdays per month 8-2pm. The other days are negotiable. Registered Dental Hygienist to become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Adult Patients all ONE HOUR Appointments
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to develop personalized care plans.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems ORYX), documenting all treatments, observations, and patient interactions clearly and thoroughly.
- Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records.

Experience
- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental office or clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy related to oral health.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix: We use ORYX.
- Experience performing dental x-rays (dental imaging) with adherence to safety standards.
- Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to educate diverse age groups, especially pediatrics.
- Demonstrated expertise in infection control practices, healthcare infection prevention, and aseptic technique.
