Tool & Die Maker
A leading manufacturer in the Tri-Cities area is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker. This position offers a unique combination of custom tool building, die repair, CNC machining, troubleshooting, and precision craftsmanship. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, working with both modern CNC equipment and traditional toolmaking techniques, and taking pride in producing high-quality work in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
Position Summary & Responsibilities
- Build, repair, troubleshoot, and service stamping dies, tooling, fixtures, gauges, jigs, and custom machine components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, prints, sketches, and technical drawings to plan and execute machining operations.
- Perform precision fitting, assembly, and machining work to close tolerances (±.001").
- Set up and operate tool room equipment, including CNC and manual machinery.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying tooling enhancements and collaborating with engineering and production teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $29.00 - $40.00/hour, depending on experience.
- Additional retention Bonus: $1,000 after 6 months and an additional $1,000 after 1 year.
- Quarterly incentive bonus program (5% target, 2.5% guaranteed minimum).

- Available Shifts: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Preferred Qualifications
- Tool & Die Maker, Toolmaker, Machinist, or related manufacturing experience.
- Experience building, servicing, and troubleshooting dies and tooling.
- Strong blueprint reading and precision measuring skills.
- CNC machining and programming experience (Haas, Hurco, Okuma, Mastercam, or conversational programming preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
This is a direct hire position, hired on directly with the company from first day of employment.
Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
