Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced water well driller and proficient welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, drilling water wells, and performing welding tasks essential to construction and infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help ensure the successful completion of well installation, maintenance, and repair projects while adhering to safety standards. Must be proficient in English.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and water well drilling rigs to carry out drilling and construction tasks efficiently.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to assemble or repair equipment and structures related to water well projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safety protocols are followed during drilling and welding operations.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to plan daily activities and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper operation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with the setup of construction sites by preparing the ground, positioning machinery, and managing materials.
- Follow all safety guidelines and environmental regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating drilling rigs and associated equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery and welding equipment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is essential, but not required.
- Prior construction site experience with well drilling.
- Proficiency in welding techniques suitable for industrial applications involving water wells or structural components.
- Ability to operate additional equipment such as graders or paving machines is a plus.
