Satellite High School is looking for a Technical Design Teacher for their CAD program-focused class for high school students in their Career & Technical Education Program (CTE).
Our CTE program provides our students relevant experience with the latest technology. They gain knowledge, experience, and confidence as they explore careers hands-on from the inside out.
This is a 10-month instructional position, with benefits, for the 2026-2027 school year beginning on August 3, 2026.
Requirements:
- FLDOE Engineering Technology Certification required
or
- Engineer or engineering-related bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years occupational experience in the profession,
or
- A minimum of six years full-time or the equivalent of part-time occupational experience in drafting occupations
- Acceptable job titles: Engineer (any discipline), Drafter, Architect, Civil Engineer, Civil/Structural Drafter, Designer as related to drafting, Computer assisted drafting (CAD), Mechanical Drafter, Architectural Drafter, Electrical Drafter, Electronics Drafter
