Retail Parts & Accessories Sales Associate
Babbitt’s Sports Center – Norton Shores, MI
Babbitt’s Sports Center has been a leader in the powersports industry for over 60 years, with a massive showroom of 200+ vehicles and one of the strongest parts operations in Michigan. We’re expanding our Accessories & Parts Department and looking for a sales‑driven professional who knows how to move product, build relationships, and create merchandising that sells.
If you have Powersports experience, are a true enthusiast, and thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment, this role is for you. You’ll help riders upgrade their machines, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive revenue by turning inventory into the right solutions for our customers.
What You’ll Do (Sales & Merchandising Focus)
- Drive parts and accessories sales by identifying customer needs and recommending the right products
- Use your product knowledge to upsell, cross‑sell, and increase average ticket value
- Merchandise the showroom and parts floor to create high‑impact, high‑conversion displays
- Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing to support sales flow
- Assist customers in selecting performance upgrades, maintenance parts, riding gear, and personalization accessories
- Support apparel sales with strong product presentation and customer engagement
- Build long‑term customer relationships through exceptional customer service that brings riders back to Babbitt’s again and again
- Other duties as needed to build success

- Reliable, coachable, and adaptable in a fast‑moving retail environment
- Passionate about powersports and eager to learn product lines
- Experienced in retail or parts sales (powersports, automotive, or similar preferred)
Requirements
- Ability to work 8‑hour shifts, including Saturdays
- Frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally push 50+ lbs
- Strong communication skills via in‑person, phone, and computer
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of Retail Sales experience (required)
- Ability to commute or relocate to Norton Shores, MI
