Accredited by The Joint Commission, this organization is recognized for delivering compassionate, patient-centered hospice care through interdisciplinary teams in both home and facility settings. We're seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a full-time position (40 hours per week).
Pay and Schedule
- $83,000–$89,000 per year
- Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:00am
- No on-call requirements
- One weekend day per month

Responsibilities
- Respond to urgent patient care needs across home and facility settings
- Complete skilled nursing visits for symptom management, patient assessments, and crisis intervention
- Perform visits that could not be completed during the daytime schedule, as needed
- Coordinate care with Hospice RN Case Managers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support patients, families, and caregivers throughout the hospice journey
- Maintain documentation using Netsmart myUnity
Territory
- Coverage includes Sussex County, Delaware
- Evening nurses cover a broader geographic territory than Hospice RN Case Managers
- Typically two evening nurses provide coverage throughout Sussex County
- Mix of home and facility-based hospice care

Requirements
- New graduate RNs are welcome to apply
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Delaware
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred but not required)
- CPR certification required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Two years of oncology, medical-surgical, or home health nursing experience preferred, but not required
