Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this vital role, you will monitor the environment through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with security protocols. Your proactive approach will help prevent incidents, manage access control, and provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff alike. Duties
- Conduct routine patrols of the property to identify potential security risks and ensure safety standards are maintained
- Control access points using access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for visitors, contractors, and staff
- Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies following established procedures
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities
- Support emergency response procedures including first aid administration, AED operation, and fire safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred; military background is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary for safety or operational needs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and maintain detailed logs
- Familiarity with conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond effectively in emergency situations while adhering to security regulations
- Having a professional appearance is a plus, being well-groomed and neatly dressed
