Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional well-being.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that stimulate cognitive growth, language development, and fine motor skills through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, conduct assessments, including standardized testing when applicable, and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure smooth transitions and maximize instructional time while fostering independence among students.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, milestones, and classroom experiences to promote a strong home-school connection.
- Nurture and teach children about Godly principles maintained from God's Word.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in classroom settings or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Prior classroom management experience with toddlers or preschoolers is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members.
- Be familiar with Accelerated Christian Education curriculum, this is what is used daily.
- Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant experience in private school or daycare settings is advantageous.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
