This position serves as the entry point into DGW's Apprenticeship Program. No experience in quartz fabrication is required. We are looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic who want to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in manufacturing.
About the Apprenticeship Program
Successful employees may advance into DGW's Apprenticeship Program, receiving hands-on training in precision quartz fabrication, grinding and polishing, blueprint reading, quality inspection, specialized equipment operation, and advanced manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate grinding, cutting, and polishing equipment under supervision
- Cut quartz tubing and materials to specified dimensions
- Assist experienced fabricators and craftsmen
- Clean and inspect finished parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
