Now Hiring OTR Driver – 1099 Position
We’re looking for a reliable Over-the-Road (OTR) driver to join our team!
✅ Position: 1099 Contractor
✅ Equipment: Box Truck
✅ Pay: 20% per load
✅ Home Time: Every 1–2 weeks (flexible)
✅ Dispatch Provided: Yes
✅ Loads: No-touch freight majority but please be flexible
✅ Requirements:
- clean driver’s license + DOT medical card (CDL) is recommended but not required
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Must pass MVR check

Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and tractor-trailers on local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Load and unload freight with precision, utilizing manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules.
- Transport refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials (Hazmat), or other specialized cargo like flatbeds or tankers as required.
- Ensure proper documentation for freight movement, including manifests and delivery logs, complying with hazardous materials regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and report any issues or delays promptly.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or truck loading/unloading.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and logistics cargo handling procedures.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA, DOT regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving and hazardous materials transportation.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks when needed.
