American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Worcester, MA, requiring a permanent MA RN license and at least 1.5 years of ER experience.

Emergency Department (ER) unit in an acute care hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, with a standard start time of 7:00 PM

Shift start time may occasionally flex up to four hours earlier or later based on urgent staffing needs — this occurs very rarely

Telemetry monitoring is a component of patient care in this unit

Epic EMR experience is preferred

Active, permanent MA RN license currently in hand is required

Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Must be able to read and interpret telemetry/EKG

Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

No prior disciplinary actions or priors on nursing license

Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt, and a failed exam will result in immediate contract cancellation

Study materials will be provided prior to and during orientation to help with exam preparation
