American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room Circulator position requiring at least 3 years of OR experience and active TX or compact RN licensure.

13-week contract in a hospital operating room setting
-
OR Circulator role focused on operative procedure support
-
Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts starting at 6:30 AM
-
40 hours per week
-
On-call required 1–2 days per week and 2 weekends per month

Active TX or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)

Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-issued only)

Minimum 3 years of OR experience required

Minimum 2 years of prior U.S. hospital experience in the specialty required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
-
BSN highly desired
-
US Social Security Number required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures

Prepares the OR for the patient and surgical procedure, including assembling equipment and supplies and verifying availability of implants

Adheres to aseptic technique standards and departmental protocols
-
Consults and coordinates with the surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans

Serves as a communication liaison between patients, families, and members of the operating team

All certifications must be AHA-issued
