Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility.
- Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and sanitation purposes, following all safety protocols and handling procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools efficiently to maintain floors and surfaces.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks using proper safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repair needs or hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety practices.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
