Panama City PPEC is hiring an RN Charge Nurse
Our center provides specialized nursing care to children with complex medical needs in a supportive pediatric care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with special medical needs
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
- Educate and support parents and caregivers regarding their child’s care needs
- Assist with daily care activities and maintain a safe care environment for children
Requirements:
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience:
- Pediatric nursing, home health, long-term care, or PPEC experience
- Knowledge of AHCA, HIPAA, and pediatric care standards
