This part-time position earns a competitive wage of $25 an hour, with most events scheduled in the evenings, (4 to 10 pm).

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EVENTS COORDINATOR
The Events Coordinator will serve as our representative, helping to ensure that each event runs smoothly from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on setup, working independently and customer interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Preparing the facility for events by opening the building and ensuring all spaces are
- clean, organized, and ready for use
- Setting up equipment such as tables and bleachers to meet event needs
- Welcoming event organizers, serving as a helpful, responsive point of contact throughout the event
- Monitoring the facility to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment and addressing any issues that arise
- Closing out events by ensuring all participants have left the building, spaces are tidy, equipment is returned and the facility is secured.
While there may be quieter periods during events, your presence and availability are key to maintaining a high-quality experience for all participants.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility with confidence
- Sound judgment and the ability to calmly and professionally address concerns or conflicts
- Willingness to follow guidance and collaborate with the HKC team
- Availability to work evenings and weekends

NICE TO HAVE:
- Valid driver's license
- Food handlers license
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Event staff (previous experience setting up, working during, and breaking down event spaces)
- Catering (previous experience and understanding of basic catering fundamentals)
- Guest management (understanding basic security norms for checking in guests)
- House Keeping (understanding basic methods to keep a place tidy before events start, during events, and after they end in an efficient manner)
WORK SCHEDULE FLEXIBILITY
This role is well suited for someone seeking flexible, part-time hours. Most events are scheduled in advance, though occasional last-minute opportunities may arise. Shifts typically range from 4 to 8 hours, with peak activity at the beginning and end of each event.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
