The Part-Time Baker/Decorator is responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of baked goods while ensuring all products meet the bakery’s standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. This role supports daily bakery operations through accurate recipe execution, ingredient preparation, quality control, and proper food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities
- Bake a variety of products according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods with creativity, precision, and attention to detail.
- Accurately measure, prepare, and organize ingredients according to recipes and production needs.
- Monitor products throughout the baking and decorating process to ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including properly cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and bakery procedures.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Work independently while communicating and collaborating effectively with the bakery team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional baking experience required.
- Previous experience decorating cakes, pastries, or other baked goods.
- Ability to accurately read and follow recipes and measure ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning practices.
- Ability to safely operate standard bakery equipment and tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to meet production deadlines.
- Must be available to work weekends.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
